Woodbury Farm Features Unusual Animals

Highwire Deer & Animal Farm in Woodbury is a destination that is "simply unusual." This 5-acre farm in the hills of Connecticut features more than thirty animals, including kangaroos, coatimundis, a camel and a beautiful "z-donk", born last year. "We look at it as sharing our animals with people," says owner John Hardisty, noting that families like to visit with the exotic creatures, set-up a picnic or feed the farm friends. "The goats will have their babies in June and they're out here for the public to see." The farm opens for the season this coming weekend.
