People came from around the area to TD Homer's Grill, 461 Queen St. in Southington, on Tuesday, Feb. 26, for the restaurants third annual Free Gourmet Burger Day. Hundreds of patrons took advantage of the offer, lining up to have one of the restaurant's seven gourmet burgers. According to owner Ken McAvoy, the restaurant made over 2,000 half pound burgers in preparation for the event. The restaurant offered the full range of its gourmet burger menu.
